Drunk Driving DUI?
No, keep you knickers on. There is no reports alleged or otherwise that Katie Price was driving under the influence. Apart from not risking her driving licence or the lives of people in the car, when Katie has a drink she uses a chauffeur or a taxi. We think she has a digital breathalyser anyway as all people could do with one to monitor their blood alcohol levels.
The Boring Facts about the Real Driving Incident
The stories appearing are based on those which appeared in the Daily Mail and the Mirror. They concern an incident which took place near the Hawth theatre in Crawley Surrey where Michelle Heaton (a close friend of Katie Price) was appearing in the play The Naked Truth. The supposed incident happened on 15th October 2010.
There are pictures of Katie Price holding a phone but not holding it to her ear. This is the first part of the story as if Katie was proven to use a mobile phone while driving she could receive more points on her licence. It is not clear if Katie is driving in these pictures or if she is the passenger in the front passenger seat.
Photographer Gets in the Way
The other part of the story concerns a photographer who was "clipped" by the car which contained Katie Price. It is not clear if the photographer was doing something ridiculous to get the money shot but this is likely to be the case. It is on this unclear account of events that certain elements in the press are speculating that Katie Price is about to spend 2 years in jail as a punishment. They wish!
