A New Home Katie Price, her Children, Horses and Alex Reid
Finding a new home was not the easiest thing for Katie Price. She needed a new home for herself (she wanted her new married life in a different setting to the failed one with Peter Andre), the children (always her greatest priority), somewhere for her horses close by and somewhere to enjoy marriage with the hunk and winner of the penultimate Celebrity Big Brother, Alex Reid. She also wanted the new home to be out of the view of the press. For all their sakes the new home had to be surrounded by enough land so it wouldn't be visible from the road.
The Reality of Real Estate for Celebrities
We are not saying that celebrities need our sympathy because of the extra stresses they have during one of the most stressful times in anyone's life (moving home) but it should be considered. Of course, wealth does come in handy when reducing the work involved in relocating, but money cannot rid the event of stress completely. Katie, Alex and family had the additional £1,000,000 or so to buy acres of land as a press buffer zone. Despite this a picture of their new home, deep in the Sussex countryside appeared in the press without Price or Reid's permission and it appeared that photographers had come onto the property to get their money shot.
Smaller Than the Andre Family Home
Katie and family have sized down for this move. Katie said on What Katie Did Next that there were too many rooms in her last house. Rooms that were hardly, if ever, used. Despite the downsizing Katie looked happy, much happier than she did with Pete in the last bigger house. Alex Reid has a way with the kids and with Katie and Katie is made up as her horses and Junior's pony are stabled adjacent to the new house as are paddocks and a dressage area.
