Peter Andre Does Not Smell of Roses Despite the Bucket of Aftershave

Peter Andre is suing his former wife and mother of his two children for libel and slander. Reports about the ongoing court case are sketchy as the media have been banned from the court room. This little detail has stopped them (or us for that matter - we at least are truthful) reporting and speculating on the case. Of course, the reactionary, sexist and misogynous British press are on Peter Andre's side and blame Katie for the case being bought. Any damage done to their children is all her fault and not possibly anything to do with "Father of the Year" Peter Andre. But, does Peter Andre smell of roses after pursuing the case or is that the result of the bottle and a half of aftershave he allegedly uses every week?

Courts Have Their Uses and These are not Only Prosecution

Let's be honest (again) why is Peter Andre bringing this case? Is it really because Katie Price has spoken or written out of turn? Is he really the completely innocent party in all this or is he playing a part? At one time, before it was revealed that the cocksure Ozzie was having an affair with a page 3 girl, Andre was letting it be known that he didn't have time for a relationship and that his children were everything and came first all the time.


The Real Reason for Andre Bringing the Case

Anyone who watched Peter Andre The Next Chapter will have seen how Andre received the news of his ex wife's marriage to Alex Reid. Not very well. His face couldn't contain his true feelings - the shifty eyes and the mentioning the unmentionable was in contrast to his ongoing eulogising of "this is the life" "I'm so happy" "I've found my true calling now" or words to those effects type of gush. Could it be that Andre is jealous. Is he one of those men that walk out on their wives to teach them a lesson only for it to backfire?


If not Jealousy is it Publicity?

Could it be that Andre is bringing the case for additional publicity? Katie wouldn't have done the same as it involves her children. She is a parent of much longer standing than Andre and does not use her children for publicity. It is Peter who seems to do the photo shoots with the kids. Could it be that Peter loves the publicity? He'll not turn any television work down and he did learn from the master as to how to play the media game.
