A New Home Katie Price, her Children, Horses and Alex Reid

Finding a new home was not the easiest thing for Katie Price. She needed a new home for herself (she wanted her new married life in a different setting to the failed one with Peter Andre), the children (always her greatest priority), somewhere for her horses close by and somewhere to enjoy marriage with the hunk and winner of the penultimate Celebrity Big Brother, Alex Reid. She also wanted the new home to be out of the view of the press. For all their sakes the new home had to be surrounded by enough land so it wouldn't be visible from the road.


The Reality of Real Estate for Celebrities

We are not saying that celebrities need our sympathy because of the extra stresses they have during one of the most stressful times in anyone's life (moving home) but it should be considered. Of course, wealth does come in handy when reducing the work involved in relocating, but money cannot rid the event of stress completely. Katie, Alex and family had the additional £1,000,000 or so to buy acres of land as a press buffer zone. Despite this a picture of their new home, deep in the Sussex countryside appeared in the press without Price or Reid's permission and it appeared that photographers had come onto the property to get their money shot.


Smaller Than the Andre Family Home

Katie and family have sized down for this move. Katie said on What Katie Did Next that there were too many rooms in her last house. Rooms that were hardly, if ever, used. Despite the downsizing Katie looked happy, much happier than she did with Pete in the last bigger house. Alex Reid has a way with the kids and with Katie and Katie is made up as her horses and Junior's pony are stabled adjacent to the new house as are paddocks and a dressage area.

Katie Price was recently in court for dangerous driving. This was due to an incident when Katie was driving her 7.5 ton pink horse box on a motorway and was seen to swerve lanes. In court Katie claimed that she was a "typical woman" much to the changrin of feminists everywhere. The glamour model and business woman got off lightly - there was no driving ban - but there is no suggestion anywhere that alcohol was involved.

Let's be honest (again) why is Peter Andre bringing this case? Is it really because Katie Price has spoken or written out of turn? Is he really the completely innocent party in all this or is he playing a part? At one time, before it was revealed that the cocksure Ozzie was having an affair with a page 3 girl, Andre was letting it be known that he didn't have time for a relationship and that his children were everything and came first all the time.

Anyone who watched Peter Andre The Next Chapter will have seen how Andre received the news of his ex wife's marriage to Alex Reid. Not very well. His face couldn't contain his true feelings - the shifty eyes and the mentioning the unmentionable was in contrast to his ongoing eulogising of "this is the life" "I'm so happy" "I've found my true calling now" or words to those effects type of gush. Could it be that Andre is jealous. Is he one of those men that walk out on their wives to teach them a lesson only for it to backfire?

Could it be that Andre is bringing the case for additional publicity? Katie wouldn't have done the same as it involves her children. She is a parent of much longer standing than Andre and does not use her children for publicity. It is Peter who seems to do the photo shoots with the kids. Could it be that Peter loves the publicity? He'll not turn any television work down and he did learn from the master as to how to play the media game.

Mrs Alex Reid, our Katie Price, was in court recently. She was there to answer charges of dangerous driving. The offence Katie Price was prosecuted for took place on a motorway and while Katie was at the wheel of her famous, pink, 7.5 tonnes horse box. The horse box was seen to swerve.

Katie appeared for herself (unlike celebrities who send representatives). She argued she was just a “typical woman” and suggested that women were not very good at driving. As the model was found not to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol when the swerving offence took place, the only explanation is that she is not a good driver or that she has some issues with concentration.

There was a problem for the ***p website though. Essentially it was this. They had just written this article about Katie Price, Alex Reid and his jealousy but what would they do when it was proven to be a pile of ***p? This would probably happen when Alex Reid wrote his own column in a newspaper and said he was proud of his wife for going to dinner with two footballers and raising money for charity.
