Katie Price the Luxury Holiday and the Private Jet

Katie, Alex and Harvey Luxury and Pampering in Egypt

With only a week between their hectic schedules Katie and Alex decided to spend the time on a purely luxurious holiday in Egypt. If you know anything about Katie Price you'll know that the Hotel will have been the best available and that when it comes to holidays only the best - usually the most expensive - will do. Katie will have enjoyed a week of sunbathing, beauty treatments and time with Alex and Harvey. 

The Other Hotel Guests

The fellow guests will have been as well-heeled as the Reids as, only people with huge disposable incomes can afford the Katie Price lifestyle.  We would imagine that Katie, Alex and Harvey kept themselves to themselves apart from mealtimes. No doubt Harvey will have been well catered for. 

Along Comes the Icelandic Volcano Dust so What Did Katie Do Next?

Everything was going well until the Icelandic Volcano pushed more volcanic dust into the atmosphere and European holiday makers everywhere became stranded. Stories in the press are circulating that this caused Katie some anxiety because the supply of Harvey's medicines would run out. We don't believe this as we are sure that Katie will have taken emergency supplies and, anyway, she would have had immediate attention from top medical advisers who would no doubt have been able to prescribe Harvey's medicines. No, Katie had to get back because of her and Alex's work commitments.

Chartering a Private Jet

the obvious solution for Katie was the chartering of a private jet and this was done without too much fun. It seems (to us) that out of politeness Katie offered the seats she, Harvey, Alex, her staff and maybe a couple of full time gooseberries (Gary and partner for instance) to fellow stranded Brits. She said if they wanted a seat they could pay her. This last act has been reported in the British Press as proof of Katie's meanness.

Mean or What?  

Apparently their were no takers from among the stranded Brits at Katie's luxury Egyptian hotel. They were all too poor to pay their way. Was Katie mean not to want to share her jet with these bludgers? We don't think so. Our opinion is that if Katie wants to give her money away (as she does) she should keep to giving to charities and working free of charge for them.  Seriously, we think is totally commendable and often not covered by the press. Why should she pay for people who can afford it to fly home in luxury? We wouldn't have even offered them space...
